Principal and interest must be serviced, based on the enterprise and its cash flows.
Use of Funds
To support farming activities, as well as retooling, which include:
Expansion of fruit tree crops, e.g. ackee
Livestock projects, e.g. cattle, pigs, goats and sheep production.
Development of protected cultivation, such as green houses & hydroponics
Introduction of modern and productive agricultural tools and machines
Ornamental fish farming
Food fish farming and mariculture
Funding is available to purchase fixed assets, that is, equipment and machinery; and for working capital, that is, purchase of goods, raw materials, advertisement, and other value added expenses.

Tourism Small Hotels and Guest Houses
Renovation and refurbishing
Apparel: Clothing, caps, uniforms, dress, uniform
Furniture: Wooden and metal for house hold, office & business, hotel
Food Processing: Including poultry and other meats, canned and bottled items, sweets, jams, bread and cakes, restaurant
Beverages: Carbonated and none carbonated juices, health drinks,
Chemicals: Detergents and soaps,
Leather Goods: Belts, hand bags
Craft Items: All types, straw, wood, leather, paintings
Agriculture and Fishing
Poultry: Meat, eggs.
Livestock: Meat, milk,
Legumes: Peas, peanut
Vegetables: Cabbage, carrot, pumpkin, tomato, callaloo and other vegetables.
Condiments: Escallions, hot pepper
Fruits: Pawpaw, pineapple, watermelon.
Tubers: Yams, cassava, dasheen, potatoes
Tree crop and other crops
Fishing: Inland and sea, ornamental (pet) fish
Agro-processing: Juices, concentrate, ackees etc.
Equipment for Quarrying
Public and Commercial Transportation: Buses, trucks

NOTE: THE VIABILITY (FEASIBILITY) OF EACH PROJECT WILL BE DETERMINED BY ITS CASH FLOWS.

DBJ/CDB- AGRICULTURAL LINE OF CREDIT FOR SMALL FARMERS
DBJ has committed J$250M to the Agricultural Line of Credit for on-lending to small farmers via Approved Financial Institutions (AFIs) such as the National People’s Cooperative Bank Network (NPCB), Credit Unions (via JCCUL) and Approved Micro Financing Institutions.
Small farmers registered with RADA
Food Fish farmers who are registered with Fisheries Department
Ornamental fish farmers.
Must be registered with RADA/Ministry of Agriculture,
Project must be financially and technically viable.
Project must demonstrate ability to repay loan without a negative impact on its operations.
If a company, ensure that the constitution of the entity gives it the authority to borrow and a board resolution must be passed to access this facility,
Tax Registration Number (TRN),
An approved farm plan from RADA or Fisheries Department,
All loans to be secured.
